The Light Room is run by me, Rebecca, and my husband David. Together, we’ve created a space that feels warm, calm and easy to be in, and we want everyone who walks through the door to feel welcome, at ease and well looked after.

I’m a photographer, community builder and someone who cares deeply about creating spaces where people feel safe, seen and valued. The Light Room is an extension of that. It’s a place to gather, create and connect, and everything about it has been shaped with care.

David is a wonderful host, as well as our resident tech and repairs man, and an amazing cook who keeps The Light Room stocked with his locally famous Age Fudge. We first met working in hospitality, running a small café in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, so looking after people has been part of our story from the very beginning.
